“Villa dell'Artista was just stunning. Our stay the last week of October was perfect weather-wise. Following a swim in the pool, peering through the olive groves and hilltop vistas from the arbored patio was the perfect way to start and end our Tuscan days. The staff, especially chef Anna and her team of Victoria and Fernando, were a highlight. The wood burning oven produced two pizza nights and the best steaks ever—why eat out? We didn’t! The only time we visited the local restaurants was following our bicycle tours, which are superb in this area! While we did some day trips—Florence and Cinque Terre—our next visit will be more about using the villa as a base.
